ONLINE Application and Registration
Candidates wishing to participate in TechXtile Challenge must complete the online competition application form available under the “Apply” section at www.techxtile.net and upload all required documents to the system in accordance with the specified schedule. The application process consists of the following steps:

Project applications must be submitted through the “Apply” section at www.techxtile.net. Participants must download, complete and sign the Competition Terms and Conditions, ANNEX 1: Undertaking/Application Form and ANNEX 2: Personal Data Protection Law Information Notice available in this section. (ANNEX 3: Letter of Consent will only be requested from participants who qualify for the final.) Every page of the downloaded Competition Terms and Conditions, ANNEX 1 and ANNEX 2 documents must be initialled, and all relevant signature fields must be completed. The documents bearing handwritten signatures must be scanned and uploaded to the system. Participants shall be fully responsible for any missing initials or signatures.

During the application process, participants must approve the Competition Terms and Conditions and the Personal Data Protection Law Information Notice through the online system.

Candidates must select the appropriate application category from the category field under the “Project Upload” section. Applications will be accepted under two categories: Level-Up, for projects at the idea stage, and Scale-Up, for projects with a developed product or service. If an application is considered unsuitable for the selected category, the programme administrators may inform the applicant and transfer the application to the appropriate category.

Participants must complete all required personal information, project details and team information in the application form. The primary document submitted with the application must be a presentation that clearly explains the project proposal. Supporting materials such as images, graphics and tables may also be included in the presentation.

Project summaries and visuals will be featured in digital publications prepared as part of the competition and in the booklet distributed at the final ceremony. Participants should therefore pay particular attention to the quality of the submitted content and visuals.

Following the completion of the online application process, participants who pass the preliminary selection must send the original copies of all documents bearing handwritten signatures, together with a USB drive or CD containing their digital copies, by courier to the address below by the end of December 2026.

Evaluation Process
Preliminary Selection – Evaluation Board
- Applications will be assessed by a panel of reviewers consisting of industrialists, consultants, Technology Transfer Office and technology park executives, and experts with experience in technological entrepreneurship.
- Projects selected following the preliminary assessment will be invited to participate in the TechXtile seminar programme.
- Participants who complete the training programme will present their projects before the Evaluation Board, which consists of executives from R&D and Design Centres, investors, textile industry representatives and technology experts.
- Projects that pass the preliminary selection and contestants who qualify to participate in the training programme will be announced on the website. Participants are responsible for following these announcements.
Final Selection – Final Jury
- Finalists selected by the Evaluation Board will receive mentoring support to further develop their business models and will present their projects before the Final Jury at the final ceremony to be held on 25 March 2027.
- The top three projects in each category will be awarded, bringing the total number of awarded projects to eight. In addition, one project will receive the Bahar Korçan Sustainability Special Award and one project will receive the Women Entrepreneur Special Award.
Project Representative Definitions
The documents must be prepared and the signature process must be completed in accordance with the definitions provided below.
Lead Project Representative
A member of the founding team who is authorised to represent the project throughout the application and competition process. All official communication will be conducted through this person. (A signature is required.)
Project Representative
Other individuals who hold rights in the project, whether or not they are project partners. They are authorised to sign the relevant documents. (A signature is required.)
