SPECIAL AWARD FOR CATEGORY WINNER

The project owner who ranks first in the Scale-Up | Product & Service Development Entrepreneur category (individual or team) will receive a media communication package, providing visibility opportunities in national platforms followed by the business world and potential investors.

AWARDS FOR THE TOP 3 ENTREPRENEURS

  • • Patent application support from Starker Patent
  • • Networking opportunities with investment networks and pitching sessions with investors
  • • Online training and mentorship support by Bursa Technical University Technology Transfer Office (including Project Preparation Mentorship and Effective Presentation Training)
  • • Opportunity to present projects to Bursa's textile industrialists and investors
  • • Pen Software Awards
  • • Meetings with Venture Capital Investment Funds funded by BEBKA for the finalist in the Scale-Up category
  • • Participation in the BİGG ULUKOZA acceleration program by Bursa Uludağ University Technology Transfer Office, under TÜBİTAK 1512 Individual Young Entrepreneur Program, which includes training and mentorship services for 3 selected participants.

(*) These awards will be provided if the entrepreneur, academician, or team meets the required conditions.

Criteria for TÜBİTAK 1512 Support
Applicants must meet the following criteria by the program's pre-application date:

  • • Be enrolled in any associate, undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral program at a university.
  • • Be a graduate of an associate, undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral program and meet the specified conditions.
  • • Must not have previously received support under the Ministry of Industry and Technology’s Techno-Entrepreneurship Capital Support or the 2nd Phase of the TÜBİTAK 1512 Program.
  • • Must not be part of any company’s partnership structure as of the pre-application date.

AWARDS FOR THE TOP 3 ENTREPRENEURS BY BUSİAD AND BOSİAD

  • • Industry 4.0 consultancy by BUSİAD for the top 3 finalists in the Scale-Up category of the TechXtile Challenge Design Competition, in collaboration with UTİB-BUSİAD.
  • • Opportunity to showcase projects and profiles in Sinerji magazine, published jointly by Bursa Organized Industrial Zone (BOSB) and BOSİAD, for the top 3 finalists in the Scale-Up category of the TechXtile Challenge Design Competition, in collaboration with UTİB-BOSİAD.
  • • One-on-one networking opportunities with industrialists for the top 3 project owners who make it to the finals.
  • • Support from industrial firms' R&D centers and laboratories for the 3 projects based on their content, including assistance throughout the process from product or service development to commercialization.
